Pine Plains Man Nabbed Passing Drugs To Inmate At Dutchess County Jail

A Pine Plains man was busted for passing drugs to an inmate at the Dutchess County Jail, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.

Matthew S. Moore, 34, was visiting Jeremy M. Craft, 28, of Hyde Park when he was caught passing a controlled substance during the visit, said Capt. John Watterson.

Moore was charged with promoting prison contraband and criminal sale of a controlled substance. Craft was charged with promoting prison contraband and criminal possession of a controlled substance, Watterson said.

.After being processed Moore was arraigned before the City of Poughkeepsie Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. Craft was released on an appearance ticket.
